T-LANE NATION PARTNERS WITH BC HYDRO ON GOOD HOPE LAKE SUB PROJECT
T-Lane Nation was fortunate to partner with BC Hydro recently to transport the components of a diesel generation station from the lower mainland to Good Hope Lake, situated between Dease Lake and the BC/Yukon border.
This job commenced on August 13th with the move of the first five oversized loads between Richmond and Surrey. On August 24th, these loads along with two legal loads departed from Surrey, BC while 2 oversized tanks were loaded out of Chilliwack BC for departure on August 25th. There was a total of 9+ loads on pilot for this project.
A key challenge the T-Lane Nation team overcame with this task was having to follow very special and specific routing which took the team around and through Valemont (lengthening the timing of the trip) while communicating solely by 2 way radio due to no available cell service. The team navigated all challenges successfully and arrived safely and on schedule for offloading.
Thank you BC Hydro for another successful project, it was a great project to be a part of.
