BC Hydro Substation Replacement

T-Lane was on-site in Powell River, BC to perform an emergency replacement of a transformer at a BC Hydro Substation.

BC Hydro encountered a transformer failure at Forest View which they required T-Lane’s assistance on; with limited power supply in the area this became a top priority for BC Hydro and for T-Lane.

BC Hydro required road, barge and crane transportation, all which T-Lane were able to provide as a one-stop shop transportation and logistics service provider.

This new transformer was 5.68m long, 2.43m wide, 4.3m high and weighed 38,000 kgs. T-Lane used a mini-deck trailer to keep the loaded height to BC permits policy.
